Richard and Izabela Koscielny dedicated
their years of professional and private experience to help children with Cerebral Palsy. They pioneered and developed the idea of Intensive Therapy and Suit
Therapy in the United States. They designed and patented the TheraSuit.
The Koscielnys are both physical therapists, certified 1st class personal
trainers and parents of two daughters, one of them has Cerebral
Palsy. Richard and Izabela's goal is to improve lives of
children and their families through real and effective therapy.
Their dedication and perseverance resulted more than 150 centers around the
world implementing intensive Suit Therapy program. Method of Intensive Therapy developed by Koscielnys is
used at UCP centers, Easter Seals clinic and Children's Hospitals.
Richard and Izabela also helped many
parents to open own private treatment centers. Richard and Izabela Koscielny are constantly involved in many projects
to help children with special needs. Despite their busy schedule,
their priority is to always share knowledge, experience and provide
quality treatment to all patients attending the Pediatric
Fitness Center.

Izabela Koscielny
Holds a Master's degree as a Physical Therapist from the Academy of Physical
Education in Poland. Izabela has 17 years of experience in the pediatric physical
therapy field. Izabela has
successfully completed many pediatric continuing education courses.
She has extensive clinical experience working with children
diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. She is also a Certified Personal Fitness
Trainer and Yoga Instructor for Special Children. In June 2002 she
and her husband, Richard, established the Therasuit
LLC Company offering continuing education courses, consultations and equipment.
In 2003, she become editor of Cerebral Palsy Magazine. In July 2003, she established
the Pediatric Fitness Center offering intensive
exercise programs for children with Cerebral Palsy. Since November 2004,
she is President American Association of Intensive Pediatric Physical
Therapy.

Medicine.

Richard Koscielny
He holds a
Master's degree as a Physical Therapist and Physical Education Teacher/Trainer from the
Academy of Physical Education in Poland. Richard’s
18 years of experience in the pediatric physical therapy field comes from
extensive training, clinical experience, and continuing education courses. He
also holds a Personal Fitness Trainer Certificate. Richard is a member of
the American College of Sport Medicine.
Since June,2002, Richard together with Izabela
manage the Therasuit LLC Company. In 2003, he become
publisher of Cerebral Palsy Magazine. In July 2003, both he and his
wife, Izabela, established the Pediatric Fitness
Center.
Since November 2004, he is Chief Executive Officer of American
Association of Intensive Pediatric Physical Therapy.

Medicine.

also the happy parents of two daughters. One of them - Kaya (19) has CP.
